• Assisting supervising teacher’s instruction in accordance with student’s Individualized Educational Programs (IEP) through organized planning and classroom observations
• Utilizing effective strategies to improve the academic and behavioral success of students with developmental disabilities and mental illness through self-advocacy and independence
• Excelling in leadership, time management, organization and support through curricular and extra-curricular activities
• Organizing, leading, and detailed note taking at IEP team meetings with related service professionals
• Development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP)
