CLOTHING DRIVE MANAGEMENT

SPRING 2017

As an intern at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, I was tasked with managing the Head Start program's clothing drive. As donations arrived, I was responsible for separating clothing by size and developing a system of organization for overstock and out of season clothing. Parents participating in the GED and ESL programs were then allowed to shop the closet once per week, which served as an incentive for them to attend class. This project allowed me to gain both direct and indirect experience with families in need.
